ALLATRA is an international alliance of scientists, experts, and professionals from over 180 countries, working together on a volunteer basis with the goal to:
conduct comprehensive research on climate, geodynamic, and environmental risks
raise scientific awareness about these threats
foster multilateral cooperation in the search for sustainable solutions to global existential challenges
implement activities directed toward the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms
Key areas of focus
Climate and Geodynamics
Research and forecasting of climate and geodynamic threats. Analysis of their root causes, risk assessment, and development of effective strategies for addressing them.
Ecology and Health Risks
Evaluation of environmental risks to human health and the natural environment. In-depth study of anthropogenic influences, with a focus on micro- and nanoplastic: their spread in the environment, their effects on ecosystems, and their influence on human physiological processes.
Human Rights and Social Cohesion
Efforts to overcome division, promote intercultural and interfaith dialogue, and protect fundamental human rights and freedoms.
Nanoplastics
Threat to Life
Presented by ALLATRA Global Research Center, this research-based documentary brings together global scientific evidence on the impact of micro- and nanoplastics and presents it in an accessible, popular science format.
The film reveals how micro and nanoplastics have infiltrated every corner of the planet and every organ of the human body, including the brain, heart, bloodstream, and even the beginning of life itself.

John Ahn, PhD, MBA
PhD, Technical University of Munich; MBA, INSEAD; MS, University of California, Berkeley. Expert in bridging science and business to deliver tangible impact, with a proven track record of launching startups, forging strategic alliances, and advancing research from concept to market across agriculture, biotechnology, chemicals, energy, and materials science.
