ALLATRA International Public Movement at Ecomondo 2025: Voices for a Sustainable Future
Representatives of ALLATRA Italy at the Ecomondo 2025 International Exhibition in Rimini, Italy
Rimini, Italy — November 4–7, 2025. The 28th International Exhibition Ecomondo 2025, one of the world's leading events in the field of green technologies, circular economy and sustainable development, took place in Rimini. The event traditionally unites representatives of government, business, science, and civil society, creating a platform for sharing knowledge, innovative solutions, and best practices.
Among the participants was the ALLATRA International Public Movement, which presented initiatives to raise environmental awareness and foster dialogue between science, institutions, and civic organizations to advance a sustainable future.
Dialogue Between Science, Society, and Institutions
Representatives of the Movement conducted a series of interviews and focused discussions with international experts, government officials, and scientists. The dialogue addressed key global environmental challenges such as climate change, natural resource conservation, and environmental security.

The Ecomondo 2025 exhibition was attended by Minister of the Environment and Energy Security of Italy, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin. Representatives of ALLATRA Italy conducted a substantive interview with the minister, focusing on one of today’s most urgent global challenges — the growing presence of micro- and nanoplastics in the environment and effective ways to safeguard human health from their negative impact.

During the exhibition, interviews were held with a number of prominent figures from the academic and political communities, including:
- Paolo Gentiloni — Former Prime Minister of Italy, Co-Chair of the UN Working Group on the Debt Crisis;
- Michele de Pascale — President of the Emilia-Romagna Region;

Participation in Strategic Forums
Representatives of ALLATRA also took part in the Stati Generali della Green Economy, a key analytical forum held within the framework of Ecomondo 2025 and organized by the National Council for the Green Economy and the Sustainable Development Foundation. The event focused on strategies to accelerate the ecological transition, the role of international partnerships, and the engagement of civil society in advancing sustainable development.
During the forum, ALLATRA participants conducted a series of in-depth interviews with leading experts and representatives of government and scientific institutions, including:

Scientific Dimension and Public Engagement
During Ecomondo 2025, representatives of the ALLATRA International Public Movement took part in scientific and discussion sessions dedicated to climate change, plastic pollution, sustainable water management, and the protection of the biosphere.
ALLATRA participants engaged in substantive dialogues with representatives of research institutes, water agencies, and environmental organizations. Particular attention was given to strengthening the link between science, institutions, and civic initiatives as a key condition for an effective ecological transition.
Ecomondo 2025 vividly demonstrated that the synergy of science, institutions, and society is essential to building a truly sustainable future.
