Official Statement of ALLATRA on the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation Against Ukraine

6 November 2025

ALLATRA unequivocally condemns the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014 with the temporary occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and escalated into a full-scale invasion in 2022. These actions have caused immense human suffering, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and widespread violations of human rights. They are in direct violation of the fundamental principles of the Charter of the United Nations, the norms of international humanitarian law, and numerous United Nations General Assembly resolutions.

ALLATRA expresses its solidarity with the people of Ukraine as they exercise their inherent right to self-defense, as enshrined in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

ALLATRA supports the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and all other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

ALLATRA strongly condemns war crimes, crimes against humanity, and all other violations of international humanitarian law committed in the course of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

ALLATRA supports the efforts of the international community to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation of these crimes, to establish the truth, and to ensure individual criminal accountability for all perpetrators — both direct participants and officials responsible for decision-making — in accordance with international law, including the provisions of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

ALLATRA supports all international efforts aimed at ending the armed aggression against Ukraine, ensuring justice, restoring the rights of all victims, and providing full compensation for the damage inflicted.
