Representatives of the ALLATRA Movement at the Youth Changemakers Forum at the United Nations
Representatives of the International Public Movement ALLATRA took part in the international Youth Changemakers Forum on the theme “Generations Working Together,” which took place on February 27 at the United Nations Office in Vienna.
The forum brought together young leaders, experts, diplomats, and representatives of public organizations from more than 25 countries to discuss the role of youth in addressing global challenges and strengthening intergenerational cooperation. Participants exchanged ideas and initiatives aimed at sustainable development, social change, and international collaboration.

The event was organized by international organizations and public initiatives, including:
- European Network of the Filipino Diaspora
- International Association of Youth and Students for Peace
- Women’s Federation for World Peace
- United Nations Correspondents Association in Vienna
The program also featured representatives of Erasmus+ initiatives and experts affiliated with the structures of the European Commission.
Representatives of the diplomatic corps, experts, and public organizations spoke at the forum. Among the discussion participants were:
- Zoilo Velasco — Adviser to the Embassy of the Philippines in Vienna
- Andrej Krchnavy — Representative of the European Parliament from Slovakia
- Lubica Magnusson — President of the Women’s Federation for World Peace in Slovakia
- Michael Deininger — Representative of the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace
- Dr. Maria Riehl — Expert and participant in international educational initiatives

During the discussions, participants addressed pressing global topics, including the role of youth in shaping the future of society, the development of education, the impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, as well as issues of responsibility and ethics in the information space.
Representatives of the ALLATRA Movement participated in discussions and international dialogue with participants from different countries, supporting initiatives aimed at developing international cooperation, environmental responsibility, and the active role of youth in building a sustainable and secure future.

In recognition of its commitment to environmental protection and the preservation of creation, the ALLATRA International Public Movement was granted an Apostolic Blessing by His Holiness Pope Francis in 2024. In 2025, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV likewise bestowed an Apostolic Blessing upon the President of ALLATRA and all its volunteers.
