Presentation of Biagio Maimone's book “Creative Communication for Social and Humanitarian Development” — Rome, Italy
Vatican, Italy — November 14, 2025. A conference dedicated to the presentation of a book by journalist and writer Biagio Maimone “Creative Communication for Social and Humanitarian Development,” published by TraccePerLaMeta, took place in the Italian capital. The event was arranged in the Guglielmo Marconi Hall, which is part of the Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See and located in the Vatican Radio building. The Apostolic Blessing of Pope Francis, which accompanies Biagio Maimone’s work and underscores its cultural values, became the ideological and spiritual guideline for the conference.
During the event, Italian representatives of ALLATRA International Public Movement conducted a series of informative interviews with the speakers. These conversations highlighted key ideas and strategic approaches related to modern communication, social responsibility, and humanitarian development.

The author of the book “Creative Communication for Social and Humanitarian Development” Biagio Maimone is a journalist, writer, and content creator; Director of Communications at the Bambino Gesù del Cairo Association, and Italian national coordinator of the World Religious Tourism Network. His activities have been inspired by the Apostolic Blessing of Pope Francis
In his book, Biagio Maimone outlined his key views inspired by the Church’s social doctrine and the “Church of Dialogue” promoted by Pope Francis. He has emphasized the need for communication capable of uniting nations and supporting comprehensive human development.
As the Italian national coordinator of the World Religious Tourism Network and Director of Communications at Bambino Gesù del Cairo Association led by Monsignor Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, Biagio Maimone once again highlighted the importance of a language that could restore dignity, cultivate the ability to truly listen, and uphold the pursuit of truth amid conflict and polarization.

The conference, opened by television host Paky Arcella, featured a series of highly professional presentations that offered a comprehensive interdisciplinary perspective on the role of communication.
Héctor Villanueva, CEO and founder of Expo of Peoples, Cultures and Solidarity, cultural director of the Milano Latin Festival, and initiator of the international project Milano Siamo Noi (“Milan Is Us”), shared his vision of international cooperation. Villanueva emphasized the communicative power of solidarity initiatives and intercultural projects capable of uniting diplomats, cultural associations, community leaders, and artists, promoting mutual respect, cultural exchange, and fostering genuine integration within the city’s international context.
Gianni Todini, journalist and director of Askanews agency, underscored the importance of journalistic communication in the era of digital transformation, noting: “Without communication, there is no society. It is clear that the type of communication we practice shapes the society we live in and the one that is now being formed. We live in a society that, for many reasons, is becoming highly polarized.”
Claudio Brachino joined the conference online and addressed the philosophical category of beauty as a key principle of communicative activity, referring to the Kantian aesthetic tradition and its civic and moral significance. He emphasized that harmony and ethical sensibility have the power to guide genuine public dialogue.

Enea Trevisan, founder of Ealixir Inc. and digital reputation expert, presented an in-depth analysis of the role communication plays in shaping and evaluating public identity and noted that media narratives significantly influence people's perception and affect the quality of democratic discourse.
Maria Maimone, communication philosopher and founder of Life Project for the South, highlighted the educational value of the word that is viewed as a tool capable of guiding consciousness and fostering positive processes of personal and social development.
Journalist and writer Gaia Simonetti, expert in sports communication, explored the connection between the language of sports and the culture of kindness, noting: “I work in the world of journalism, which means in the field of communication. There is a fundamental principle I try to practice every day: to select, choose, and consciously use words. Because communication can hurt and cause pain, or it can be a gesture of care that becomes essential at a particular moment. This is exactly what I try to bring into the world of football where I work every day.”
Valentina Faloni, lecturer, PhD in communication and social research, and specialist in narrative and creative methodologies, addressed the topic of the art of communication as a synthesis of rigor, sensitivity, and conscious relationships.
An artistic touch was given to the event by pianist and composer Joseph Lu, multiple award winner in the United States, who reminded the audience of the universal power of musical language as a means of self-expression and dialogue.
