The award recognizes an investigative report conducted in Tanzania that documented serious suspicions of abuse against children. The investigation resulted in two documentaries pointing to suspicions regarding the actions of a Czech citizen in the territory of Tanzania.

The investigation was carried out in collaboration with blogger David Bail.

“The elevation of this case to a high official level was facilitated by the support of Pastor Mark Burns, spiritual advisor to U.S. President Donald Trump, with the involvement of his global initiative Spiritual Diplomats,” noted journalist Marketa Vackova.

According to open-source reports, Tanzanian authorities launched an investigation following the release of the documentaries.

In addition, these films contributed to broader professional and public discussion on child protection, international cooperation in reviewing such cases, and the need to strengthen preventive mechanisms.

The documentaries by Marketa Vackova and David Bail are available in Czech on their YouTube channel, "Cesta z matrixu": https://www.youtube.com/@cestazmatrixu01
