During the COP30 Climate Conference in Belém, Brazil, ALLATRA International Public Movement strengthened its collaboration with Egypt The Dream Foundation for Development and Innovation (EDFDI), a unique foundation that brings together experts from more than 30 countries and holds UN observer accreditation.
EDFDI was founded by engineer Mohamed Haggag and serves as an innovative platform promoting an advanced scientific and technological approach to addressing climate challenges. The foundation’s mission is to restore climate balance for millennia and to develop engineering solutions capable of changing the trajectory of the global environmental crisis.
The foundation’s work is grounded in the values of scientific responsibility, technological innovation, transparency, inclusiveness, and social justice. EDFDI aims to create a fully self-sustaining ecosystem for climate restoration, where pollution is converted into a resource and scientific data is transformed into engineering projects that deliver tangible benefits for people and the environment.
This strategy is complemented by the foundation’s work in the social sphere, including efforts to expand opportunities for women in coastal regions and to actively promote human rights.
Collaboration between the ALLATRA team and EDFDI is developing within the framework of an international scientific dialogue. Scientists, engineers, and researchers from both sides are joining forces to identify practical solutions to global climate and environmental challenges, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary analysis and elevating the scientific approach within the international agenda.
Scientific Presentation and Research on Micro- and Nanoplastics
At COP30, ALLATRA President Maryna Ovtsynova and experts from ALLATRA Global Research Center presented an analytical report and the results of many years of research on micro- and nanoplastics—one of the most serious threats to the biosphere and human health.
The ALLATRA delegation and the delegation of Egypt The Dream Foundation for Development and Innovation participated jointly in the event, which expanded the international scientific dialogue and brought broader attention to this critical issue.
The EDFDI Foundation plays an important role in disseminating scientific data and elevating the issue of nanoplastic pollution on the global agenda, helping ensure that this critically important topic becomes a subject of discussion among scientists, policymakers, and international institutions.

Inclusiveness, Human Rights, and Support for Women Scientists
EDFDI places special emphasis on expanding the participation of women scientists and creating conditions for equal access to science, education, and innovation. The foundation has supported more than 5,000 families, created new opportunities for over 1,000 women from coastal regions, and continues to actively develop educational and social projects.
The foundation leads a global coalition of 313 experts from 30 countries and maintains a strategic partnership with the international investment fund CRJ Capital Partners, enabling it to offer countries fully developed, funded, and technologically robust solutions.
These initiatives are part of the official “Baku–Belém” roadmap for COP30 and demonstrate the practical viability of the foundation’s innovative approaches.
Appreciation for Our Partners
ALLATRA International Public Movement expresses its deep gratitude to engineer Mohamed Haggag and the entire team of Egypt The Dream Foundation for Development and Innovation for their contribution to the global scientific dialogue, their openness to collaboration, and their commitment to finding real solutions to the climate crisis.
The joint work at COP30 highlights the importance of scientific diplomacy, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the unification of efforts to preserve life on Earth and ensure a sustainable future for all people.
