On March 18, 2025, representatives of "ALLATRA Israel" and "Creative Society. Israel" took part in the Conference on Sustainable Development of Rural Areas, held at Kibbutz Givat Brenner, Israel.

The event focused on key challenges related to the increasing frequency and intensity of natural disasters, and their impact on agriculture, the environment, and energy security.

Among the speakers were:

  • Shai Hajaj — Chairman of the Center for Regional Government and Head of the Merhavim Regional Council;
  • Doron Shidlov — Head of the Brenner Regional Council and Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee of the Center for Regional Government;
  • Idit Silman — Minister of Environmental Protection of Israel;
  • Shimon (Shimi) Braun — Acting CEO and Legal Advisor of the Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael -- Jewish Nation Fund;
  • Isaac Herzog — President of Israel (welcoming video address).

Key topics of the conference included:
