The presentation focused on the ability of nanoplastics to accumulate electrostatic charge, a factor that can trigger cellular disorders, chronic diseases, and destabilize climate processes. A unique report, "Nanoplastics in the Biosphere: From Molecular Impact to Planetary Crisis," was presented at COP30, offering a comprehensive overview of the global threat posed by nanoplastics.
The presentation attracted considerable interest from the scientific community and was followed by a lively discussion. Those attending noted that the work presented makes a significant contribution to international efforts to study and overcome the threat of nanoplastics.
